Now you must be wondering, “How can I perfect the art of preparing Ramen in a Jar?” Well, don’t worry. Here are some tips to guide you:

  • Layers Matter: When filling your jar, always start with the seasonings at the bottom. Then add the noodles, followed by your chosen protein, vegetables, and garnishes at the top. This layering ensures that everything gets properly cooked when you pour in the hot water.
  • Noodle Choice: You can use any type of noodles for Ramen in a Jar. However, quick-cooking noodles like ramen or rice vermicelli work best.
  • Fresh Ingredients: Always use fresh ingredients for maximum flavor. Your choice of vegetables, proteins, and garnishes can vary based on your preferences.
  • Vegetables of choice: For vegetables that are harder (ex. broccoli, carrots, etc.) you may want to consider steaming them ahead of time. Now if your thinking of using canned vegetables, they will work.
  • Meat of choice: You can pan fry up some beef strips of chicken strips and add them right into the jar. In most grocery stores you can purchase pre-cooked chicken and beef chunks/strips, those work really well for the jars.
  • Extras: Green onions, red onions, kimchi, roasted garlic, sesame seeds, hot sauce or Sriracha, hard-boiled egg, ginger.
